If they all have to be in view, then there could be some ways to make it easier, granted all of this is off the top of my head while I'm at work, but maybe you could fudge the material that needs to be rendered a bit? Meaning, does every sphere need to have the material rendered on it or could you get away with 1/2 or 1/3 of the spheres having the material? I'm not sure what you are doing in your scene, but do the actual Mesh and Texture renderers need to be displayed, or could you get away with just spawning a portion of your spheres as colliders alone? There's numerous ways to do this, Unity has a baked-in method if you prefer but I've seen other methods around. Download this repository somewhere in your files. So when we instantiate a game object or unity prefab we will store that.
